Medieval part of Ústek was built on the long sandstone cliff and this phenomenon gives to this picturesque town special and unmistakable look. Depicted landing stairway is connecting Mírové námestí (Mírové Square) in above mentioned upper part of town Úštek with its northern, lower part.
