Below the Kintai bridge there are several nice fishing spots along the bank. We usually watch for the Japanese fishing from little boats to see where the fish are. You can watch the Japanese throw the bass back and keep the trout they catch. Bass are considered a nuisance species, so there isn't a limit nor a license required to fish them. You do have to keep all bass you pull out, regardless of size. Not a bad deal.
Recommended tackle: Lightweight rod & reel gives the best time.

Recommended fishing methods:
Top water, deep divers, rattle traps, jigging spoons, any type of worm.
