The memorial stands at the entrance to Court Farm.
It is a square memorial with a cross on top and a crucifix on the front.
There is a wonderful view from the farm entrance over the Wye Valley.
The memorial architect was Mr L.A. Turner and the site was donated by Sir T. Pilkington, Bart. The unveiling took place in August 1921 by Lord Treowen.
In 2008 a problem with the site was identified. The bank of grass the memorial stood on was being affected by heavy goods vehicles. The soil had become loosened and the longterm stability of the war memorial was uncertain. War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £1,087 to build a wall to hold up the bank and preserve the foundations of the memorial.
