Situated in State Highway 25A on the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula. On the east side of the Tairua Bridge is a small track leading to the swimming hole. There is not much room there for parking and no facilities. The swimming hole has a stony beach on one side and the other side comprises of three large smooth round rock cliffs...a stunning sight.
