Finalista ankety Strom roku 2005. Fagus sylvatica Pendula neboli previslá forma buku lesního zvaného „Opicák“ je významnou dominantou zámeckého parku v Lipníku nad Becvou. Park byl založen v padesátých letech 17. století, v soucasnosti tvorí soucást mestské památkové rezervace. V parku rostoucí buk previslý je mohutným exemplárem, bujného rustu, s vetvemi dosahujícími až k zemi. Osm jeho vetví zakorenilo a spoluvytvárí s materským kmenem krásný komplex.

Exceptionally large European beech (Fagus silvatica Pendula) called "Opicák" ("He-ape"). This overhanging species of European beech is a significant dominant of the mansion park in Lipník nad Becvou. This overhanging beech is a huge specimen of rampant growth with branches reaching down to earth. Its eight branches had taken root and build up a beautiful complex together with the main stem. In 2005, children nominated this tree to compete in "Czech Tree 2005" and after having reached the final, it came in sixth in the public opinion poll.
