The Plough Inn was built in 1885 and has traded as a pub since this time. One of the oldest buildings that remains in Brisbane The Plough Inn proudly displays many of its original features.
The original stair case is still used in the hotel along with the ornate ceilings and front facade the pub maintains much of its original character and charm.
Today The Plough Inn is a Brisbane icon, located in one of Brisbane tourist precincts, South Bank, the pub is a destination in its own right.
The current owners have capitalised on the pubs yesteryear charm and added a modern twist. The newly built deck and beer garden provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy what an Aussie pub is all about.
