The Bur Oak Mtn Bike Trail begins at the parking lot of the PAVED Bur Oak Self-Guiding Trail in Birds Hill Provincial Park but of course there are no paved sections on this Mountain Bike Trail.

The Bur Oak trails offer fast flowing single track, with about 8 km of total trails. There are small hills, but most of the trails are pretty flat with no real climbing. The trail surface is mostly hardpack, sandy soil, with roots and some rocky sections. Many of the sections offer challenging, tight twisty turns that will test even the best bike riders.
