Designed to accommodate all visitors, the path is asphalt covered, and the adjacent picnic tables and washrooms provide barrier-free access.
There are different interpretive sign in summer and in winter that describe the animals and plants that thrive in this area. A braille version of interpretive sign texts is available at the park office.
The loop is 1 km (0.6 mi.) long.
