Lažanský z Bukové (Lažanský of Buková) - originally an old Czech family, which was during the Estates uprising on the Hapsburg's (Catholic) side and thus was promoted to the manor and then to count imperial status. Among the members of the family excelled at the turn of the 19-20th century Czech patriot Vladimír Count Lažanský (1857-1925).
Lažanských Palace, built in neo-Renaissance style in the years 1861-1863 by architect Ignác Vojtech Ullman, was intended as noble seat for Prokop Count Lažanský.
