The Taupo Marina is home to storage, boat launching, boat facilities and maintenance, and accessible from the north side of the harbour. Situated within walking distance of Taupo township, shops, restaurants and Fishing Tackle shops.
The Taupo Marina is controlled by the Internal Affairs Department and administered by the Lake Taupo Harbourmaster. A waiting list of several years exists for permanent berthing but short term temporary berths are available given prior notice (although peak periods over Christmas and Easter place a heavy demand on availability).
