This large country park is 170 acres with several large lakes. It was originally a gravel works and opened in 1965. It provides opportunities for walking, fishing, sailing, picnicking and camping and caravanning.
There are many birds on the lake and around the country park. We mainly saw ducks, moorhens and gulls. Parking is available around the park accessed through the main entrance.
