Turn off of Prison Camp Rd. to get to Fisher River park. It's about .3 mile and there aren't any signs indicating an entrance to the park. Take the second entrance on the left to go back to Field #1, shelters and other areas. The HoF is on the left behind the backstop.

The Hall of Fame Monument was constructed of Mt. Airy White Granite, mined and fabricated at NC Granite in Mt. Airy North Carolina. The two solid granite cubes weigh approximately 26,000 pounds with the larger cube measuring 5 feet square and the smaller 3 feet square on a side. The upper(smaller)cube has a 10 inch by 18 inch bored and capped hole which serves as a time capsule filled with sports related items to be opened July 4th, 2056, fifty years from the pioneer HOF inductee's selection. The two cubes and concrete platform on which they rest have been dimensionally designed to fall within the shape of a "golden triangle" when viewed from the side. This shape is most pleasing to the eye and has been used throughout history in classical buildings and monuments.

There is a lot to do at Fisher River park other than visit the Hof.
