This is a granite marker in the shape of the country of Korea, located in the middle of grassy Parrington Oval on the north end of the University of Oklahoma campus. The marker and flag plaza together are a nice way to honor those who served in the Korean War.
This is a great location for the monument since Parrington Oval is a main north entrance to the University of Oklahoma as well as next door to the Fred Jones Museum of Art.
