A very famous and often photographed favorite located in the "mecca" for arches. A must visit if you are in the area, and the local town of Moab is a great jumping off spot. I think it is best to visit in late Feb-early March to avoid the masses. A 1.5 mile one way hike will get you up to the arch area. The trail starts off fairly easy and after about 1 mile you start up a large section of exposed sandstone. For those unable to hike up there is an overlook that is reachable by car. Make sure you bring plenty of water on the hike.

Photo of the Arch by itself?: yes
