Constructed in 1978, the Russell C. Davis Planetarium features nighttime sky shows, laser shows, and special movie presentations. I once saw Star Wars on this dome screen.

One unique feature of the planetarium is that it is built across and above Lamar Street. The coordinates posted are for one of four elevators that take you up to the planetarium and gift shop.
