RPH, as it is known in the city of Perth, is one of the older hospitals in Perth. It is a full service, public hospital, with facilities ranging from the emergency room to major organ transplantation. It is also a teaching hospital, affiliated with the University of Western Australia. The hospital has two campuses, the major is this facility in the city, with a second campus in Shenton Park (approximately 6km due west).
