This historic-style wrought iron fountain in the middle of the square provides a decorative finish to the valuable historical centre of the town. It was built in 1900 on the spot where there had previously been a stone water tank dating from the late 18th century. The new fountain, far more decorative in character, was designed by Georg Wirth of Vienna. It is 5 metres high and the main part of it is formed by two reservoirs. The fountain is surrounded by a wide circular stone tank, and consists of three main sections: the lower section is decorated with dolphin motifs, the middle section with putti representing the four seasons, and the upper section with a gilded rose-piece. Water flows out of both reservoirs through lions’ heads.

Historická kašna se nachází uprostred Masarykova námestí. Byla postavena v roce 1900 na míste, kde puvodne stávala kamenná vodní nádrž z konce 18. století. Nová fontána, která má daleko více dekorativní charakter, byla navržena Georgem Wirthem z Vídne. Je 5 metru vysoká a hlavní cást je tvorena dvema zásobníky. Kašna je obklopena širokou kruhovou kamennou nádrží. Samotná fontána se skládá se ze trí hlavních cástí: spodní cást je zdobena motivy delfínu, strední cást s sousoším predstavující ctyri rocní období, a horní cást se zlacenou ruží. Voda vytéká z obou nádrží lvími hlavami.
