This monument, erected in 1838, has quite a few names scratched into it, and has had other graffiti as well. The painted graffiti has been removed, but the carved names remain. The oldest of these names is that of W H Gazlay, whose name was etched into the marker in 1867. The monument is at the edge of US-50, at the border of Ohio and Indiana.
