This structure, located in War Memorial Park, is a staple for the Pass Christian community. Build in 1984, it has since been the center of annual Christmas celebrations, art shows, and weekly farmer's market each spring. The gazebo is such a strong part of this community that the Pass Christian newspaper is called "The Gazebo Gazette".
The wooden part of the structure needed rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina and so did the community. The construction on the gazebo was completed; construction of the community continues.
