On the front of the church of St Nicholas de Myre in Jausier, are a pair of similar sundials.

Jausier is a village in Alpes de Hautes Provence, on the upper Ubeye, south of the Col de Var from the Zarbula Zone. The church of St Nicolas de Myre dominates the main street. On the front are a pair of simple vertically declining sundials. These were restored before our first visit in 1996. The interior of the church is Baroque but the dials are simple and severe. Perhaps this reflects the history of the church through the reformation as outlined in the plaque.
