Captain's Inn - Forked River; Forked River, NJ - Dockside Restaurants on Waymarking.com

This river-side restaurant has been a local favorite for as long as I can remember. I remember going here when I was around 10 years old, I was there again in my 20s, and visited just again to finally waymark it.

The main restaurant sits offers full lunch, dinner and catering menus. The decor suits the upscale surf and turf menu. The menu changes for special occassions and holidays. See their website at (visit link) for their menus.

On the water, the Captain's Inn also has their "Tiki Bar" dockside restaurant. Offering more of a "bar-like" menu, this open-air bar becomes a hot-spot as the sun sets, offering nightly music...and a little room for dancing.

Nautical visitors can reach Captains Inn from Barnegat Bay, up the northern branch of the Forked River.
