The doorway is Norman, with the priest doorway in the south wall of the chancel.
The Norman string course [the ledges of the present South and East windows] would indicate that the chancel was the same size 750 years ago.
From this period to To Tudor times the church grew, with Gothic pointed arches,
from the 14th - 15th century the lower part of the tower was added the nave widened and more windows added.
The North chantry chapel was built with two recessess and a piscina.
15th - 16th century Th etower was completed with an extra storey.
the nave was further widened with a south aisle and a porch added.
Glass was becoming more common and larger windows were added to lighten the church. the three larger windows belong to this period but not the stained glass, this was added later.
