Hill called Zebín, located 2 km NE of town Jicín, dominates whole Jicín basin. The summit of this 70 millions years old Tertirary volcanic pile (401 m a.s.l.), crowned by a small Baroque waychapel of St. Mary Magdalene, offers magnificent vistas over whole Jicín basin.
From the summit you can see not only the entire Jicín basin with hills Valdice, Kumburk, Bradlec, Veliš, but also castle Trosky and Kozákov Mt. If the visibility is perfect, you can see also Giant Mts. (Krkonoše) and Jizera Mts.
