It is situated on the northbound A49, between the town of Craven Arms and Church Stretton.

It has recently changes hands (2009) but reports are that the food and welcome as as good as the ever were.

In the 1970s they had a Mynah bird as well. There a notice asking drivers not to teach it to swear!

Overnight parking is apparently now allowed by the new owners.
