Songkhla is a small city in far southern Thailand, and a provincial capital. In the grounds of the provincial museum, located near the city centre, are a number of artefacts on display, representing the history of the region. One of these is a set of anchors, indicative of the nautical trading history of the town. There was no information available as to the provenance of the anchors.
