An area that is being actively reclaimed is Waterfront Park. This amphitheater is formed by the placement of the stage in a small lagoon surrounded by the hillside that creates a decent outdoor concert bowl in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Waterfront Park is a showcase of the area with lagoons, an outdoor amphitheatre and a wooden boardwalk that links Tugboat Beach and the residential area to the north with the Grand Okanagan Hotel and the downtown.
Kelowna's inaugural jazz festival was kicked off with a picnic in the park with several performers playing here. ( (
