This is the best bike shop in the Hiroshima area, in my opinion.

Ueki-san's Sport Cycle shop is in Otake, just south of Hiroshima. He has a shop on a side road about 2 blocks from the You-me Town. You can take the train to Otake and get a free bus ride from the station to the You-me Town.
From the You-Me Town Parking lot, head to Rte 2 underneath the large sign. Cross the street and go straight ahead. Take a right at the double-mirrors and walk another 100 meters. Ueki-san's shop is very small, but his selection is right on the money for anything you could want/need. Anything he doesn't have, he can order and have to you within a couple days.
I go nowhere else. Ueki-san speaks good English, and he also has an American working for him on Saturdays if you need someone that speaks native English.
