This lovely old fountain was painted by local artist Don Misael Solis Alvarado (1912-1999) and is currently undergoing renovation.

In the photos, notice the scaffolding near the church, and also notice the water has been drained from the fountain. Work continues to upgrade this facility, which was built in 1895.
