Misael Solis, a local, self-taught artist, painted the interior of the Inglesia de San Rafael church in Zarcero, Costa Rica. Located in the province of Alajuela in the district of Zarcero, the town of Zarcero in Costa Rica features this lovely church with stained glass windows. The church was undergoing renovation during my visit. I was able to peek inside the open doors and view the columns, which are painted to look like marble. There are lovely religious paintings inside the church, and much elaborate stencilwork. The main colors are pastel blue and pink.
