The thing I find fascinating is the "Living Roof"
4800 plants in 5 inches of soil on the roof of the convenience store control:
1) Storm water runoff
2) Provides environmental and sound insulation
3) Reduces heat and cooling costs
4) Helps filter pollutants from air and rainwater
The Convenience Store features, "Hand-selected, fresh, and local describes the fare". "Hot and cold sandwiches and salads made to order, a host of vegan and vegetarian selections, plus pastries and other sweet treats, and organic coffees and teas". The store is "regionally-sourced and eco-conscious all the way down to our compostable straws and cups".
