The landing is located by a busy path about 1 km distant from the town of Szczawnica. A small boat takes tourists to the other side of the Dunajec river, from where a blue trail steeply ascends the Sokolica mountain (747 m). The boat seats about eight passengers besides the ferryman dressed in a local folklore attire. The hours of operation seem to be rather flexible, from about 8 AM to 7 PM in the summer.
