A series of ponds next to the DuPage river is a good place to catch several types of fish.

Trout are stocked April and October. Catfish are stocked May through September. Bluegill and crappie are stocked once a year. A Hidden Lakes permit is needed to fish at Hidden Lakes. All adults age 16 and older are required to have a Hidden Lakes permit. The State of Illinois no longer requires state licenses to fish at Hidden Lakes Historic Trout Farm.

2-Day Permit $15
2-Day w/Resident ID Permit $10
Catch Limits:
• Channel Catfish - limit three in possession per day
• Trout - limit two in possession per day
• Bass - limit one (must be over 18") in possession per day
• Crappie - limit four (must be over 9") in possession per day
• Bluegill - catch and release only
Once you have reached your daily limit, remove all poles from the water. If you wish to continue fishing, practice catch and release.
There is a bait shop available.
