The Model 55 Railbus was built in 1921 by JG Brill Company; it's apparently one of 6 that were built.
The GWWD Railway was built in 1914-15 to build and maintain the 93 mile Shoal Lake (Ontario) Aqueduct that has provided fresh water for Winnipeg since 1915. There is more info on GWWD here (visit link) .
