The Butterfly House is located in Faust Park in west St Louis county. It has several insects displayed besides the butterflies in the glass enclosure. Within the enclosure there are hundreds of butterflies in free flight along with great variety tropical plants. The Butterfly House is a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Hours of operation:
Memorial Day to Labor Day: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. The rest of the year: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Mondays (except Columbus, President's & Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Also closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
