The Center No. 5 School was built in 1869. The school house was originally located on Wheeler Ridge in Marion Township in the northwest corner of Davis County. The schoolhouse was moved to its present location as part of the Davis County Historical Society Museum. It is open for tours on Saturday afternoons 1 - 4 during the summer months and also by appointment.
