Prehrada Sec byla postavena na rece Chrudimce v letech 1925 až 1934. Na jejích skalnatých bocích se nacházejí zríceniny hradu Vildštejn a Oheb. Vedle své energetické funkce je Sec známou rekreacní vodní plochou a oblíbeným místem pro sportovní rybarení. S nedalekou chránenou krajinou oblastí Železné hory je pritažlivou turistickou lokalitou. Prehrada má obloukovou 42 m vysokou a 165 m dlouhou hráz. Technickou raritou je drevené potrubí privádející vodu k hydroelektrárne.
