Frenke is a little river in the canton Basel-Land it flows eastward from Bubendorf to Liestal into the Ergolz.
The Ergolz comes from the hills in the South of the canton and flows northward into the Rhine.
Both rivers have bends so the actual confluence point has the Frenke flowing North and the Ergolz flowing West.
The waymark is on a little hiking trail on the North bank.
