The globe details the world map with various objects. There are mermaids, shells and many sea creatures. The mosaic is very finely made with its tiny pieces making a colourful display on the pedestrian access path to the building.
Surrounding the globe are the lakes which control the water levels around the building where we spotted a heron. The whole area here is a surprising, attractive place holding very important information accessible to the public. They do good food too.
