St Michael's Uniting Church is located at the corner of Collins and Russell Streets in Melbourne's City Centre.
The church, classified by the National Trust, was architected by Joesph Reed (1823?-1890). The church's and Reed's web sites both say the present church was built in 1866. It was designed in the Lombardic style (style of architecture as found in parts of Northern Italy). Reed also designed many other nearby Melbourne iconic buildings (Collins Street Baptist Church, The Scots' Church, St Paul's Cathedral, Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne Town Hall, etc).
