STATION DESCRIPTION

DESCRIBED BY TENNESSEE ASSOC OF PROF SURV 2003 (BES) THE STATION IS LOCATED IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY AT THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF MURFREESBORO, APPROXIMATELY 2.5 MILES SOUTH OF EXIT 81 (US 231) OF INTERSTATE 24 IN BARFIELD CRESCENT PARK.

OWNERSHIP--CITY OF MURFREESBORO PARKS AND RECREATION.

TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF US 231 AND BARFIELD CRESCENT ROAD, PROCEED WEST OF BARFIELD CRESCENT ROAD FOR 0.9 MILES TO ENTRANCE OF BARFIELD CRESCENT PARK. TURN LEFT (SOUTH) FOR 0.2 MILES TO ENTRANCE TO PARKING LOT ON LEFT. TURN LEFT AND PROCEED TO WEST GATE ENTRANCE TO BALL FIELD AND THE MARK ON RIGHT SIDE OF ENTRANCE ON EAST SIDE OF WALKING PATH.

THE STATION IS SET IN CONCRETE, 6 MT SOUTH OF WEASTE RECEPTICLE, 9 MT SOUTH EAST OF SOUTH HEADWALL OF CULVERT UNDER ENTRANCE TO BALL FIELDS AND 8 MT SOUTHWEST OF OF SIGN SAYING --RULES AND REGULATIONS--.
