A classical "Greek" temple nearby the summit of the Anninger in Mödling, south of Vienna, with a beautiful view of the south part of the Austrian capital.

The originall wooden temple, built 1809-1811 by Joseph Hardtmuth, was destroyed 1812 by a heavy storm. The stone building was rebuilt in the present form 1813 by Joseph Kornhäusel. -- There ist a grave of five soldiers fallen in the battle of Aspern-Essling (May 1809) against Napoleon.
