I have been unable find and history on this bell, one would have expected a plaque at the site to tell of it's past, but alas there is none.
Due to it's location outside the fire brigade, I would expect that it was originally used as a fire bell.
It has 'John Warner & Sons London 1863' cast between the upper belts and a coat of arms and 'patent' cast into the body.
The tongue has been removed from the bell.
