At 21:32:23 EDT the ISS reached at an altitude of 45° and a magnitude of -2.5 over Kingsport, TN. The 10% chance of rain forecast made the evening iffy, but the patchy clouds broke clear enough on the right side of the sky for vhasler to make the spotting. Viewing location was bridge overpass on S. Eastman Road.
At 21:34:04 EDT it reached an altitude of 79° and a magnitude of –3.7 over Tonawanda, NY. The sky in Tonawanda was cloud covered and raining.
Donna is 1160 miles (4.5 minutes) from Kingsport. Kingsport is 489 miles (1.6 minutes) from Tonawanda. The total distance covered was 1649 miles. The time the ISS took to travel the whole distance was just over 6 minutes.
