Five life-sized bronze figures represented different military services. Downtown Bristol, VA with street parking nearby. Come and remember. The Cobra attack helicopter on display in the picture background is Waymark WM4TQT.

Description: A woman and five men from the different branches of the military stand on the V-shaped upper portion of a platform. The V signifies victory and vigilance. At the bottom point of the V is a woman dressed in office attire, holding a box to her body with her proper left arm. To her proper right is an aviator wearing a flight jacket and a cap. His proper right hand is on his hip and his proper left hand holds a baton. To his proper right is a soldier in field dress, holding his helmet in his proper right arm and carrying a rifle with his proper left hand. To the woman's proper left stands another man in combat fatigues. He is wearing his helmet and has his rifle slung over his proper right shoulder. And to his proper right stands a sailor in uniform holding signaling flags at waist level. The figures are part of a larger memorial setting that includes an eternal flame, a fountain, and a 50 foot marble wall with numerous inscriptions.
