Windy deforested hills of South-East Sicily are ideal for building of wind-farms, several of them you can find in triangle created by towns Vizzini, Francoforte and Sortino.

These wind farms utilize a total of 66 wind turbines with a generating capacity of 850 kW each. Depicted turbines (produced by IWT - Italian Wind Technology) are located ca 3 km SE of village Padaggagi, close to the road called "Contrada Piccione" connecting Padaggagi with Lanteri.
