The small (10×8 cm) metal tablet which assigns coordinates and altitude of Palicník's summit is placed unusualy at the ground level - it is screwed to the wooden board of small bridge connecting two rocks creating the summit (see photo).

Rocky cliff Palicník is one of the most impressive view points in Jizera Mountains which offers magnificent vistas over all surrounding mountain landscape and also Frýdlant lowland.
