The Sea Turtle Mural was painted by Michael Brown, who is responsible for a number of murals in Chapel Hill. This one adorns a wall of a city parking deck near Columbia Street and Rosemary Street.
Chapel Hill is a three-hour drive from the coast where these creatures are making a comeback from the endangered species list, but sea turtles are beloved by all Carolinians, so this mural is appropriate in Chapel Hill.
