The last two miles of the CZ Trail are paved but closed to motorized vehicles. There are lots of wild black berries. This year they started ripening about 08/01/2010.

This used to be a train track, and then it was a road, and now they are trying to get funding to make it a proper trail with markers, but for now its a nice enough place to walk and hike and gather black berries. It is closed to motorized vehicles. The black berries have grown up along both sides of the road. Some places get a lot of sun and the berries burn up early, but some places have a lot of shade and I have found lots of good berries there after a spell of hot weather.
Pets are welcome on a leash, but please pick up after them.
