UCO's Wantland Stadium is where all three Edmond high schools play their varsity football games on Friday nights. Edmond Memorial High School was Edmond's first high school, and it is the largest in the city. There is tailgating at the home side entrance before each game (sometimes the visitor side too). Various clubs use this opportunity to raise much needed money for their organization. The high school bands collaborate with UCO for concessions fundraising also.
Edit: Fall 2019 this field is no longer used for high school football games. They built their own stadiums.
