This light house looks to be at least partly a tourist attraction. It is surrounded by restaurants and areas for tourists to sit, rest and look out over the bay, and at night the light house itself is illuminated with coloured, decorative lights. However, the light house does overlook a moderately busy waterway. Pattaya bay has little major shipping, but it does have a sizeable number of tourist craft travelling here and there, as people enjoy themselves.
At night the light house beams out a bright red light, with a period of approximately one second.
I could find no other information about this light house.
